Les Crane - Desiderata

In the early 1980's I attended LIFE Seminars in S. Florida.  They were 4 day really intense awareness seminars.  I was struggling with emotions that I didn't understand.  The abuse from my childhood was not exactly blocked, as I was actually living under my parents roof at the time.  (another story)  It was just "normal" to me.  Anyway- we all stood in a circle holding hands on the last day of the seminar and listened and sang along to Desiderata.  I still get tears in my eyes when they get to the part about where it says "no less than the trees and the stars".  :'(  I matter.  I do matter.

Believe the YOU, too, matter.
