update on me and on SEASCAT

A very dear friend, who insists on remaining anonymous, has intervened with the corporation that has this housing complex.  They have agreed to finally hear my side of things- after almost a year of accusing me of things I haven't done and threatening eviction,  My downstairs neighbor has sleep problems and this place as substandard "squeaky" floors.  I AM the victim here.......  So, I'm still in the apt. and I have an appt. Thurs.  SEASCAT won't be open that day, obviously.  I really wanted to be open every minute I could, not that the weather is on our side.  My friend was told, by someone much higher in the chain of command, that they don't evict anyone unless they have to take them to court when asked to leave.  I have not been asked to leave.  If I am, I will still have another 30 days.  At least, that's what he swears he was told.

I've been going non-stop packing and Gail, who owns the Gateway Market where SEASCAT is located, is finding me corners to stash much of my stuff.  I'm not good at standing up for myself.  I can stand up for others, but not so good at standing up for myself.
